Chapter meeting held 6/7 at Rib City Grill in St. Petersburg (FL). Discussion on upcoming July 4 picnic, recruiting table display items, upcoming conventions & 2010 R2 Summit.
Attending USS Victorious meeting Sunday June 28, at 4:00 PM.
Article on new “Star Trek” film by member Judy Hoffman was published in the latest issue of the SFMC’s “Attention on Deck Extra.”
LTC Anne Zecca, OIC of the 631st MSG, donated platelets at KifeSouth Community Blood Centers (Gainesville, FL), her local blood bank on 6/10. A double amount of platelets was taken, to help in the treatment of cancer & leukemia patients.
A planned July 4th chapter picnic had to be cancelled by the CO, due to financial considerations.
COMMENTS :
SSGT Leslie Langel took SU-10 & NCO-20 “PASS”(SFMCA); SU-10 results pending.
Colonel Oliver Savander passed PD-11 (SFMCA).
LTC Anne Zecca passed TOS-017 (SFA) with Distinction, 6/11. She also passed TOS-028 (SFA) on 6/15 & TOS-034 (SFA) with Honors on 6/20.
Four members of our chapter is starting a correspondent chapter in Auslralia (Down Under) Commander Bryan Bartlett–Region 11 and 2 regional Coordinator (both) authorized the USS Tiberius as the “Mothership”.
USS Ringling forming in the region. I will received the “VRR” any day now. I will the mothership of this chapter in training. Today received the “VRR” forms in the mail
