ATTENTION TO ORDERS!
As senior active enlisted man on the USS Tiberius, and communications officer, it is my proud privilege to make a very important announcement. Ollie usually makes these sort of announcement, but not thsi time! It’s not often I get to scoop the Skipper!
I would like to take a moment to recognize an officer who, time and again, has gone above the call of duty for his chapter and the Corps. The STARFLEET Executive Committee this week has seen fit to recognize the efforts of members of this fine officer. One that I have been pleased to call “friend” for over a decade. I would like to publicly announce the Promotion of one of our own.
On behalf of the officers and crew of the USS Tiberius, the Marines of the 631st MSG, “The Fighting Ospreys,” it gives me great pleasure to request that Colonel Oliver Savander step forward.
In recognition of your performance of duties as the Commanding Officer of the USS Tiberius, and the Deputy Commander of the 631st Marines, while maintaining an attitude consistent with the ideals and goals of both STARFLEET Command and STARFLEET Marine Corps, it gives me great pleasure to announce your Promotion to the rank of
Brigadier, with all it’s rights, privileges and responsibilities afforded to such a Flag rank.
And may the gods have mercy on your soul.
